If you are having problems with your account and cannot access Jira, please be aware that all account passwords are stored in the PTC corporate LDAP and should be changed on this PTC.com page. It is not possible to change the password directly from Jira. 

Guide to help you check and recover your access to Jira

For PTC employees:

  1. Check that you are logging in using only your domain username (and not the full ptc.com e-mail address).
  2. Verify if you are able to login to any other PTC system (if not check or reset your password).
  3. In case the login still fails with CAPTCHA after checking all the above steps, please request a colleague to raise the issue to our team, via this support link or create an ITWORX ticket.

For External accounts (customer and partners of PTC):

  1. Make sure your account exists, if not use the Account Creation Link to create one.
  2. Validate that you are having an upgraded PTC account i.e. your account belongs to a valid PTC Customer or Partner group. If you are not having an upgraded account, use the Account Upgrade Link to do it.
    INFO: Only if your account is upgraded, you can get access to our systems.
  3. Validate your password by logging in using the Account Logging Link.
  4. In case you forgot your password, use the Account Password Resetting Link.
  5. In case the login still fails with CAPTCHA after checking all the above steps, please ask your PTC contact person to raise the issue to our team via this support link.
